Introduction to the ancient pines in Guanshan: There are "two mores" in the ancient Guanshan scenery. One is the many ancient pines with strong and vigorous shapes, and the other is the many elegant and timeless cliff stone carvings. Miao Fan, a poet of the Ming Dynasty, wrote a poem called "Guanshan Ancient Pines" that has such a good line: "The top of Guanshan Mountain is filled with clouds and smoke, and the 500-year-old pines cannot be counted. The sound of the wind is like roaring waves, and the scales and claws are about to reach the sky when the rain comes." By the end of the Qing Dynasty, the number of famous pines in Guanshan recorded in local chronicles had been greatly reduced, but there were still 130 surviving pines. To this day, the ancient pines in Guanshan are rare. They can occasionally be seen behind the Yantou Temple and beside the pavilion in the courtyard. Each ancient pine that has experienced vicissitudes of life has its own origin and story. For example, when you first enter the mountain on the north slope of Guanshan, There is a pair of "Acacia Pines", and what this pair of "Acacia Pines" has passed down to future generations is a tear-jerking love story.
