Introduction to Yangzhi Pavilion: Continuing forward, there is a very exquisite pavilion called "Yangzhi Pavilion". It was built and inscribed on the forehead of Lord Dou Guidou, a Pingding native during the Qianlong period. After Dou Yao retired and returned to his hometown, he loved the education in his hometown very much and bought a large number of teaching tools as gifts to the academy. (The word "Yangzhi" comes from "The Book of Songs·Xiaoya": "The high mountains stand still, and the scenery moves along." Later generations often used the word "Yangzhi" to express their yearning and sincere admiration for the sage. Now it is shortened to the idiom "High Mountains" "Jing Xing", from which the word "Jing Xing" came into being.)
