Introduction to Zhu De's office: Zhu De and Kang Keqing's office-cum-living room is in the first room at the east end of the main building of the meeting site, opposite Zhou Enlai's office-cum-living room. The interior is displayed according to its original appearance: a light red old-fashioned wooden frame bed, covered with white coarse cloth sheets, a thin gray quilt, and a brown old-fashioned Russian blanket; in one corner of the room there is a pair of iron document trunks. Under the window, there are iron lanterns, letters from the Military Commission, envelopes, writing brushes, red and blue pencils and other items on the red lacquered Jiuqu table; on the wall hang bamboo hats, dog-type pistols (used by Kang Keqing), telescopes, and Zhu De and Kang Keqing's arrival in Shaanxi during the Long March. The group photo of Beihou in front of the cave dwelling was taken by the famous Chinese photographer Wu Yinxian.
