Introduction to the Desert Plant Living Germplasm Specimen Garden: was built in 1976, covering an area of 8hm2. Nearly 400 species of desert plants have been introduced and cultivated, including 40 species of rare and endangered desert plants. Desert plant specimens are arranged according to the Engler system. The area is organically integrated with a large area of artificial desert vegetation, and part of the original wind-eroded quicksand landform sets off each other, highlighting the landscape characteristics of the inland arid desert area. It is a living specimen garden for plant science popularization and teaching practice.
