Introduction to the Ethnic Medicinal Plant Specialty Garden: The Ethnic Medicinal Plant Garden was built in 1992, covering an area of 0.5hm2. It mainly collects herbs commonly used by the Uyghurs in Xinjiang, and also collects herbs from other ethnic minorities such as Kazakhs and Mongolians in Xinjiang. Herbal medicine types, with emphasis on desert types. More than 60 species of plants have been collected, creating basic conditions for exploring Xinjiang’s wild medicinal plant resources and conducting research on ethnobotany, ethnomedicine and diversity protection.
