City Hall Introduction: Aarhus City Hall is a Norwegian marble building built in 1942. It is a representative work of Danish modern architecture. It has a four-sided clock tower overlooking the bay and the city. At its northwest end, there is also a group of interesting "sow and piglet" sculptured fountains. Pigs represent prosperity and happiness in the eyes of Danes.
