Introduction to the Cotton Museum: The Calico Textile Museum is the largest textile museum in the world. There are cloths with a history of more than 200 years preserved in the museum (one is preserved with glass partitions, the other is preserved in a vacuum ), artificial textiles in ancient India (including traditional ethnic costumes and patterns from east, south, west and north India), weaving tools, etc. Ahmedabad is now the second largest cotton textile industry city in India. About half of the city's population depends on the cotton textile industry for their livelihood.
