Stone Wall Introduction: In 2000, the Albanian government established the Butrint National Park, and the protection of all monuments improved. In 2005, UNESCO removed Butrint from its list of World Heritage in Danger. This means that today, the protection of this cultural heritage is still good and it is far away from the endangered category.
