Introduction to the Pyramid: "Piramida" opened in 1988 as a Hoxha memorial hall designed by Hoxha's architect daughter and son-in-law. This building is built of white marble and originally had a red five-star on the top. The memorial lasted less than four years before it was closed. It was later used as a conference center and a disco was opened inside.
