Introduction to Banshan Pavilion: There are Banshan Pavilion, Shenggeng Pavilion and Yixiu Pavilion built on Jinxing Mountain, among which Banshan Pavilion is the most famous. This pavilion was built by Zhang Jing, the prefect of Xingyi Prefecture in the 28th year of Daoguang reign (1848 AD). During a banquet, Zhang Zhidong's beloved son Zhang Zhidong, who was only eleven years old, composed an impromptu "Banshan Pavilion" of more than 700 words. It was written in one go, with neat syntax, and the words shocked everyone. The carved stone is later embedded in the stone wall inside the pavilion.
