Bird introduction: There are 3 species of national first-level protected animals in the park, namely red-crowned crane, white crane, and black crane, 16 species of national second-level protected animals, 6 species of amphibians, 165 species of birds, and mammals. In September 2002, a migratory flock of 94 white spoonbills, 2 Oriental white hawks, and thousands of geese and ducks and other rare birds were recorded settling in the Anbang River Wetland.
