Introduction to Ta Prohm Temple: Ta Prohm is a temple built by Jaya Warman VII, the king of the ancient Chenla Angkor Dynasty, for his mother. It was built in 1186. The filming location of the movie "Tomb Raider". There are 4 porches on four sides of Ta Prohm Temple. The main hall faces the east. There is a relief sculpture of Vishnu, the 6-armed protector god, on the protruding porch on the north side. Walking in from the east gate, you will pass through a long corridor. At the top of the corridor, there are reliefs of the fairy Apsara, which exudes an elegant and romantic atmosphere, so it is known as the "Dancer Corridor". The temple is dedicated to Prajnaparamita, the "goddess of wisdom". Legend has it that the sculpture was based on the image of the mother of Jayavarman VII. The inner chamber is called the "Echo Tower". If you stand at a certain point inside the tower and beat your chest hard, a loud echo will be produced, which is magical and interesting. After being uninhabited for a long time, many trees grew on the temple, so the temple is mostly a landscape of trees and rocks.
