Introduction to Yuan Mansion: Yuan Mansion is the only deep house compound with front and back gardens among the Yuncao residences. The front door starts from West Street and the back door reaches Qinjiatang. The layout of the three entrances has more than 30 houses, which is magnificent. The owner of Yuan Mansion, Yuan Shitan, was the nephew of Yuan Baishun, who rescued Li Hongzhang. He was born in the Huai Army and was promoted to the military governor of Jiangxi in the second year of Xuantong (1910). Li Hongzhang rested in Yuan Mansion during his last visit to Yuncao.
