Introduction to Xu Chengyao’s former residence: Xu Chengyao (1874-1946) was once known only as Ru, during the Tang Dynasty, also known as Ru Gong, and also known as Yinan. A native of Tangmo Village, Huizhou, he is a famous poet, chronicler, calligrapher and connoisseur of cultural relics in modern China.
The former residence of Mr. Xu Chengyao was once named "Mianqin Bieyuan" and "Jin, Wei, Sui and Tang Dynasties Forty Volumes Writing Building". It includes a residence, hall, study room, and a larger garden.
