Bridge pier introduction: The piers of Anping Bridge have three different forms, rectangular, unilateral boat-shaped, and bilateral boat-shaped. The unilateral boat-shaped piers are pointed at one end and square at the other and are located in relatively slow harbor channels. The double-sided boat-shaped piers are pointed at both ends to facilitate drainage and are located in main harbor channels with rapid and wide currents.
