Introduction to Panlong Pine in Xiangyan Temple: Qianshan Scenic Area has a vegetation coverage rate of 95.6%, and pine trees account for 40% of all vegetation, including tens of thousands of ancient pines that are more than a century old. However, there is only one nationally protected famous pine, which is the "Panlong Pine" in front of the Main Hall of Xiangyan Temple. This pine has the reputation of "the ancestor of pine trees in thousands of mountains". It is about 15 meters high, with a main trunk diameter of 1.5 meters and a main trunk circumference of 3 meters. The branches are vigorous and stretch out in all directions. They touch the wall and are detoured. One side of the trunk detours and then grows back to the main trunk. This is really rare. Every summer, the bark of the tree grows back. It bursts like scales, like a dragon circling and flying up, so it is called Panlong Pine.
