Introduction to the Lovamahapaya Ruins: Lovamahapaya This magnificent palace originally had 9 floors and 900 rooms for monks to practice and live. The 1,600 stone pillars of the entire building are arranged in 40 concentric circles. The stone pillars support a huge copper-tiled dome, so the palace is also called the "Copper Palace". It is said that at that time, this building was inlaid with a large number of gold, silver and precious stones. There were 400 stone elephants carved on the ground floor of the palace, and the ivory was also inlaid with jade. But now, only the foundation site and numerous stone pillars remain of the Palazzo Brazen.
