Introduction to the scroll with the character "Shou": 2.87 meters long and 1.08 meters wide, with a gold-pink ground and a giant "Shou" character written in running script in the middle. The first word is stamped with a vermilion imperial seal of "Empress Dowager Cixi's imperial treasure". There are regular script inscriptions on both sides of the character longevity. This scroll is from the 20th year of Guangxu's reign (1894), when Ma Piyao entered the capital in the imperial palace. In order to celebrate her 60th birthday in October, Cixi personally wrote the words "longevity" and "fu" and the words "ruyi" and "ruyi" on September 25th. Python robes, ruler heads, etc. were awarded to Ma Piyao to show praise and encouragement for his outstanding political achievements.
