Introduction to Iwatayama Monkey Park: There are many wild monkeys living in the mountains of the Arashiyama area, and you can see them at Iwatayama Monkey Park. This park is located on a steep hill about 15 to 20 minutes' walk from Togetsukyo Bridge. In addition to seeing these monkeys, it also provides a bird's-eye view of Kyoto. The opening hours are from 9 am to 5 pm every day (from November to mid-March to 4 pm). It will not be open in case of heavy rain or snow. Tickets are 520 yen.
