Introduction to Anafiotika: Anafiotika is a group of small buildings built on the slopes of the Acropolis Hill, overlooking the Plaka district. The scenery here is quite like the Aegean Sea. The indigenous people are masons who immigrated from Anafi Island in the mid-19th century to build Athens. Walking along a mountain road, you can overlook the entire city of Athens and reach the Acropolis, the most famous historical site and the entrance to the most iconic building in Greece.
