Introduction to Syntagma Square: Syntagma Square is the parliament square of Greece and the gathering place for every major event. The square is named after the Greek Constitution approved by King Otto after the uprising on September 3, 1843. The east side is higher than the west side, and is surrounded by many benches, chairs and cafes for tourists to rest.
