Introduction to Eupatorium Forest: Eupatorium is a deciduous shrub or small tree, 6-15 meters high. It is rare to have such a tall Eupatorium in Baishanzu. Its bark is reddish-brown or yellow-brown, smooth, and peels off in sheets. After peeling off, the bark is very smooth and ruddy, and it is known as the "barkless and faceless tree". Purple stems are mostly distributed in the Yangtze River Basin. They grow in evergreen broad-leaved forests or evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forests at an altitude of 600-1900 meters. They grow slowly. It likes semi-shade and semi-sun environments, and often grows in mixed wood forests. It is a mesophytic, light-loving, deep-rooted tree species that requires a cool climate and is suitable for growing in acidic red-yellow soil or yellow soil with deep soil, loose and fertile soil. Due to the continuous destruction of vegetation and poor natural regeneration, the number of plants has been decreasing day by day. It is listed as an "endangered species" in the China Red Book and is a national third-level protected plant.
