Introduction to Zongchao Garden: Zongchao Garden was originally the private garden of Qiao Lai, a Jinshi of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, and is famous for its lotus scenery. Before the Ming Dynasty, this place was a pond, connected to the Songjing River in the south and Songgang in the north. In the middle of the Ming Dynasty, the Hu family of Baoying's famous family built a Huachuan Villa here, but it was abandoned at the end of the Ming Dynasty. In the 27th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1688), Qiao Lai built Zongchao Garden on this old site. Above the gate hangs a plaque of "Zongchao Garden", inscribed by Zhao Puchu, the former president of the Buddhist Association of China; on both sides of the gate, there is a pair of white and majestic stone lions.
