Introduction to Junzi Alley: Moru Alley is a very narrow alley. The old city is dominated by three east-west streets, namely Zhuhai Road, Shaji Street and Zhongshan Road. There are a total of 23 such alleys with each other. They are not only sidewalks that connect the three main east-west streets, but also shortcuts for residents to fetch water from wells. Therefore, these alleys are commonly known as "Shui Alleys". This alley is extremely narrow, only 70 centimeters wide. If you can pass by, it is nicknamed "Mouching Lane" by the locals, but if a man faces the wall and lets a woman pass first, it is also called "Gentleman's Lane". These alleys also play an important defensive role against pirates. Because they are so small, pirates can only pass through one by one. The residents of the old street have the upper hand in the battle with the pirates.
