Introduction to Chuxiu Palace: One of the Six Western Palaces, once known as Shouchang Palace, it was the place where the concubines of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived. During the Xianfeng period, Cixi lived here as soon as she entered the palace, and Emperor Tongzhi was also born here. In the 10th year of Guangxu's reign, Cixi moved to and renovated this palace to celebrate her 50th birthday. On the walls of the verandah in the courtyard, there are inscriptions by ministers at that time congratulating Cixi on her birthday.
