Introduction to Huangji Hall: is the main hall of Ningshou Palace. It was first built in the Kangxi year of Qing Dynasty and named Ningshou Palace. In the 41st year of Qianlong reign (1776), it was rebuilt according to the regulations of Qianqing Palace and renamed Huangji Hall. It was the hall where Emperor Hongli came to the court to receive congratulations when he became the Supreme Emperor after returning to power. In 1796, Emperor Qianlong passed the throne to Emperor Jiaqing. On the first day of the first lunar month, a ceremony was held in the Hall of Supreme Harmony, and on the fourth day of the first lunar month, the "Thousands of Seniors Banquet" was held in the Hall of Huangji. In the late Qing Dynasty, Empress Dowager Cixi held animal ceremonies here during her 60th and 70th birthday ceremonies. After her death, Zi Palace was temporarily placed here.
