Introduction to the interior of the Hall of Supreme Harmony: The decoration of the Hall of Supreme Harmony is very luxurious. The indoor and outdoor beams are decorated with colorful paintings of Hexi. The floor of the hall is paved with gold bricks. There is a throne in the open room. There are 6 1.00m diameter tiles on both sides of the throne. There are huge pillars with gold cloud and dragon patterns on them. There are four pairs of furnishings on both sides in front of the throne: Baoxiang, Lu (Yinlu) Duan, crane and incense pavilion. Above the throne, a caisson shaped like an umbrella cover is placed in the center of the ceiling. In the middle of the caisson is carved a giant dragon lying down, with its head reaching down and holding a pearl in its mouth.
