Introduction to the East Wing Hall: The East and West Wing Halls of Huang Shicheng have the same shape and are hard-mounted buildings with front and rear eaves. The second hall is not a beamless hall. Although there are three gates on the front and a chessboard gate on top, the interior is actually a large wooden structure with a width of 5 rooms and a depth of 3 rooms. Under the eaves of the main facade of the side hall, there are 21 stone-carved money holes, and there are stone square windows on the north and south gables. The purpose of adopting this architectural form treatment method is to achieve harmony and unity in the entire courtyard. There are also some beautifully carved large wooden cabinets stored in the side hall, which contain royal archives related to the Ming and Qing dynasties.
