Introduction to Tonghui River: Tonghui River is located in the east of the capital and is a canal channel dug and built in the Yuan Dynasty. It was built by Guo Shoujing. Construction started in the 29th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1292) and was completed in the 30th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1293). Emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty named the river "Tonghui River".
