Former Residence Introduction: Tian Han’s former residence in Beijing was Tian Han’s residence after 1956. He and his wife An’e lived here to support their old mother. The former residence faces north and faces south. There is a head part of the original screen wall inside the door. The houses are all made of clear water walls and clear water ridge tile roofs. On the west side of the gate are 4 inverted south rooms, which together with 5 waist halls and two east and west wing rooms form the first entrance courtyard, also known as the "outer courtyard"; the second entrance courtyard, also known as the inner courtyard, has the north room with a front porch. There are 3 rooms, one wing room on each side of the north room, and 3 rooms in the east and west wings. The architecture and layout of the courtyard remain basically the same, except that the west wing of the outer courtyard has been remodeled, and the front porch of the north room of the inner courtyard has been expanded indoors.
