Library introduction: Shaw Library was officially established in 1960. It is located on the first floor of the North Teaching Building. At that time, it only had a collection of more than 60,000 books. In 1982, the school raised funds to build an independent building of more than 8,000 square meters for the library (now the North Library), which promoted the development of library business. In 1992, the library used self-developed book management software to automate library operations, becoming one of the first libraries in the country to implement computer management. In 1997, the library established an electronic reading room and began to provide CD database retrieval, multimedia CD reading and Internet services.
