Pheasant Garden Introduction: Built in November 1983, it is located on the east side of the main entrance of the zoo and displays various pheasant birds, as well as South American parrots, great bustards and condors. Several houses on the east side of the Pheasant Garden were converted into animal nurseries in the 1990s, showing visitors the process of artificially raising primates.
In 2008, the western part of the Pheasant Garden was connected to the Giant Panda Pavilion to form a Chinese rare animal exhibition area. While watching giant pandas, visitors can see crested ibises, golden monkeys, red-bellied golden pheasants and other rare animals unique to China.
