Flowing Civilization·Huaihe River History and Culture Exhibition Introduction: The Huaihe River originates from Tongbai Mountain and was one of the "Four Dams" in ancient times. It is my country's natural north-south dividing line and cultural transition zone. The cultures of the north and the south merge here, shining like stars on the historical picture. Dayu led the Huai River from Tongbai, and the rise of Xia also came from Tushan. Chu culture spread eastward to the Huaihe River, and China has since entered an era when Yan and Huang co-existed, and dragons and phoenixes were auspicious; from Daze Township to Gaixia, the Huaihe River witnessed the rise and fall of the Qin and Han Dynasties; the Bian Canal connected the capital and the south of the Yangtze River and became the lifeline of the Sui, Tang and Northern Song Dynasties; the Yellow River After seizing the Huai River, floods raged, and the Huai River Basin suffered long-term and huge suffering; Zhu Yuanzhang founded the Ming Dynasty and restored the unification of China; Huaiyang urban culture profoundly affected the evolution of social customs in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
