Introduction to Jihong Bridge: During the reign of Emperor Ming of the Han Dynasty, a bamboo and wood soft bridge was built on the Lanjin Ancient Ferry with the help of officials and the help of the people. In the 11th year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1475), Lanjin Bridge was repaired again, from a bamboo and wood soft bridge to an iron cable suspension bridge, and was renamed "Jihong Bridge". According to research, Jihong Bridge is the earliest iron cable suspension bridge in my country. It plays an extremely important role in the history of bridge construction in my country and is known as the "First Bridge in Southwest". It is said that in ancient times, when the gate of the bridge pavilion was not open every morning, business travelers, people and horses waiting to cross the bridge would form a queue of five or six miles long. Today, Jihong Bridge no longer exists due to unsafe conditions, and only the ruins of the ancient bridge remain on the shore.
