Introduction to Saint-Seurin Cathedral: Basilique Saint-Seurin was built in the sixth century AD. It is the oldest church in Bordeaux and has been included in the U.N. World Cultural Heritage. The 11th-century crypt inside the church contains the burials of Saint-Fort and a large number of sarcophagi from the Merovingiens.
