Introduction to the Jewish Holocaust Memorial: The New England Holocaust Memorial is located in a small park in the city center. It consists of 6 hollow crystal glass towers with a base of black granite. The 6 towers represent the symbols of the period during World War II. The six main concentration camps established by the Nazis, Belzec, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Sobibor, Majdanek, Treblinka, and Chelmno, also represent the 6 million Jews who died during World War II. The walls of the glass tower are engraved with the code names of concentration camp prisoners and quotes from survivors. Represents the slaughtered undead.
