Introduction to the old district: The buildings in the old district are most famous for the Planaldina Historic Center (built in 1859), which is now located in a satellite city of Brasilia. It is the largest and oldest building complex in the federal district. The other 9 manors are also well preserved. The largest manor, Souradino, was built in 1832 and is a typical local building. The Bazilandia Historical Center is also a famous building in the old area.
