Bryce Canyon Introduction: Bryce Canyon National Park is at a higher altitude than neighboring Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon. Its rim is approximately 8,000 to 9,000 feet (2,400 to 2,700 meters) above sea level, while the southern rim of the Grand Canyon is 7,000 feet (2,100 meters) above sea level. Due to the different altitudes, they have very different natural ecology and climate, so tourists often experience huge differences (those who visit all three parks on the same holiday).
