Introduction to Cotroceni Palace: Cotroceni Palace (COTROCENI) was renovated from the family residence of the King of Romania in the second half of the 19th century. Its architectural style combines French Art Nouveau and local architectural styles. During the renovation after the 1977 earthquake, a new building was built in the same style. It is now the Romanian Presidential Palace.
