Introduction to Canada Pavilion: Products: Works - 3

Introduction to works: In my daily creations, I will express my views on obstacles or some problems by shaping the works. Should be grateful for the understanding of the experience. These experiences were beyond my normal scope of understanding. The theme of my latest work is titled "Familiarity". Although not unambiguously identifiable, the shapes of these works are very familiar within the internal hierarchy of the works. Basically, by analyzing the specific functions of a work, we can know its hidden meaning. The understanding of the familiar is in many ways constantly changing because their shapes defy notions of inside and outside, front and back, up and down, etc. The change in their position opens up more interpretation of their meaning. Depending on the change of position, familiarity can reflect the shape of the vessel with practical value. If thrown into the air, it can also display strong architectural elements indicating structure, purpose and location. If turned over, small gaps in the interior space can also be revealed. This interior space implies psychological factors. In the simplest way of reference, through the use of colour, shape and pattern elements, I hope that the familiarity of the work will naturally evoke the visitor's own experience of the work. This experience will occur simultaneously with the materials, functions and social conventions embodied in the work. I believe in the spontaneity of craft work.
