Introduction to the Netherlands Pavilion: Products: Works-4
Author: A Liang
Introduction to the works: I try my best to make the works have a strong, almost primitive impact on the audience. In each new place, I make full use of local clays and methods to create my works. As for my work in the Dutch Pavilion of the Fuller Museum Group, I tried to combine the work with the building itself. For example, the statue on the wall itself is trying to "grow" out of the wall, similar to the Dutch Amsterdam School brick sculptures. These three hanging giant lion heads resemble large ceramic chandeliers. On the one hand, my works are perfectly integrated with the architecture, and on the other hand, they are closely related to Dutch history.
