Introduction to the Provincial Museum: The Provincial Museum is built on the site of this Moorish castle, called the Weathervane's Tail (Casa de las Veletas). After several expansions, the Baroque palace now houses many historical treasures, including prehistoric Cáceres artifacts, Roman coins, religious paintings... and modernist works, etc. This is an exhibition of knight uniforms in the basement.
