Introduction to the University of Macau Library: The University Library was opened in September 1999 and was designed by the famous Portuguese architect Mario Duarte Duque. The building is five stories high and covers an area of 15,000 square meters. It has a unique exterior design. The Yuanwang image is composed of three books and a CD, symbolizing the combination of tradition and modernity. With a collection of more than 300,000 books, the library is the largest and most advanced library in Macau.
