Introduction to the Castle Art Museum: The Castle Art Museum stands on the top of the hill in the old city and was converted from a monastery. The collection inside was donated by the 19th-century traveler Baron Lycklama. The items on display are all-encompassing, including musical instruments from all over the world, mostly drums, pianos, and flutes. Through 19th-century landscape paintings of Provence and the Côte d'Azur, you can see what Cannes looked like 100 years ago. In addition, the tower inside the museum is the best location to overlook the entire city of Cannes.
