Legend has it that the Sixth Patriarch Huineng enlightened to Buddhism overnight after bathing in Caoxi for purification, and Caoxi water has become a thousand-year holy water. The resort currently has 103 health-preserving hot spring pools rich in metasilicic acid, covering an area of more than 50,000 square meters.
