The avenue runs parallel to a coastline of lakes, mountains, golden beaches, cliffs and dense virgin forests, with clear rivers flowing from the Otanico and Tsitsikamma mountains into the azure sea. The view of the rolling mountains from the pass along the way is very spectacular.
