Introduction to Huaiyuan Tower: Huaiyuan Tower was built in the autumn of 1934. Puyi named it according to the meaning in the "Book of Rites" that "people who are far away will return home from all directions, and those who cherish the princes will be feared by the world", in an attempt to consolidate his feudal imperial autocracy. In addition to the Fengxian Hall where Puyi enshrined the tablets and portraits of his ancestors, some offices of the Shangshufu, the Attendant Military Attache and the Imperial Palace are also located here.
