Introduction to Lin Boqu's former residence: The former residence faces east and west, with a mountain behind the house and lush trees; there is water in front, with two weirs and ponds. The upper one is called the upper floating weir, and the lower one is called the lower floating weir. The entire former residence was built entirely in accordance with the Feng Shui theory of folk residences in northern Hunan. Looking to the southwest, there are five mountain spouts extending towards the former residence at the same time, each with a dragon. In Feng Shui, it is called "five dragons holding the gods". It is said that it is difficult to find a geographical form like this in hundreds of thousands of square kilometers. Another Feng Shui master said: The two big mountain mouths at the front and back are like two arms holding the Lin family house in their arms, which is a vivid "two dragons holding beads".
