Introduction to the mountain gate: Kaifu Temple is located at Fengzui, the intersection of Xinhe River and Xiangjiang River in the north of Changsha City. It was built in the Five Dynasties period and has a history of more than 1,000 years. The mountain gate is a granite archway-style building with four pillars, three doors and three floors, 10 meters high. The horizontal inscription above the middle door reads: "Ancient Kaifu Temple" and the couplet is "Lagerstroemia in phoenixes, blue waves lurking in dragons." It was written by the calligrapher Han Feng in the 11th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1806 AD). There are three arches, and the columns on the gate are decorated with relief paintings, either of characters or trees, flowers and plants, which are colorful and lifelike. There are a pair of stone lions and a pair of stone elephants on both sides of the mountain gate.
