Introduction to the Xicheng Pavilion: The Xicheng Pavilion covers an area of 18,000 square meters and is an important part of the Yushan city wall restoration project in Jiajing, Ming Dynasty. The Xicheng Pavilion was originally located within the west gate of the ancient city, adjacent to the city wall and Fucheng Gate. It is one of the famous "Eighteen Scenic Spots in Yushan", including Zhitao Temple, Wuyue Tower, Dashi Mountain House, Dongyue Temple, and Yan's Reading Hall (Xiaoyao Tour) Dizang Temple, Fucheng Gate, battlements, archways, etc., especially the Zhidao Shuang built in the Liang Dynasty of the Southern Dynasty and the Dongyue Temple built in the Southern Song Dynasty, and the battlements of the city wall built on the mountain in the Ming Dynasty compete with each other, making it a spectacular sight. Jiang Tingxi of the Ming Dynasty wrote in his poem "Autumn View to the West of the City": "In the smoke trees on the third floor of the high pavilion, in the sunset on the half corner of the green mountain. A line of wild geese teeth slants around the city boundary, and thousands of wells are covered with green tiles and fish scales." Today the pavilion no longer exists and has been replaced by a new building.
